Autumn Term 2018


This term our topic was Scrumptious. This topic has a Knowledge and Understanding of the World focus. We used our senses to explore different foods and look at how foods can change state, e.g. freezing, melting and cooking. We explored in the outdoors to see how food can be grown. We developed our literacy, numeracy and ICT skills through this topic. 


We  talked about our favourite foods, explored in the outdoors to see where food can be grown and used our senses. Whilst we were exploring in the outdoors we found a pear tree and an apple tree. We had a 'Breakfast in School' where we tasted different types of breakfast foods from different countries including cereal and croissants. Blasus iawn!
