Autumn Term 2022
Croeso i Ddosbarth Fox
During the Autumn Term our whole school topic has been 'Time'. In Fox Class, we have focused on 'The Victorians'. We generated questions and have answered these questions to develop our skills through a variety of areas of learning experiences. We have found out about Victorian inventions and made presentations and timelines. We have found out about the artist William Morris and made our own versions of his work. We have printed our designs onto cotton.
We researched Victorian schools and compared them to schools today. They are very different. We looked at the 1881 census for Swansea and wrote newspaper reports about life in Swansea workhouse.
We have really enjoyed working on this topic.
