Croeso i Ddosbarth Squirrel

Croeso i Ddosbarth Squirrel. This term in Squirrel Class we will be working on our 'Celebrating Us' topic and this topic has an Expressive Arts focus. We will be learning about ourselves and others, and the celebrations that we have in our lives. We thought of 'Big Questions' that we would like to answer as part of our learning. Within our learning, we will work on Language, Literacy and Communication, Mathematics and Numeracy, Humanities, Health and Well-Being, Science and Technology and Expressive Arts. We will be developing our Welsh language skills through being Capten Cymraeg, singing Ffa La La songs, Slot Drilio sessions, games and lots of different activities throughout each day. 

Every Friday afternoon, we have P.E. with Mrs Croall where we develop our physical skills as well as our teamwork skills. We take part in ERIC (Everyone Reading In Class) activities every day to develop our literacy skills. Our class mascot, Gwen Gwiwer, spends the weekend with one of our class each weekend and goes home on a Friday and is returned the following Monday. We will also be having homework shortly that will alternate between literacy and numeracy tasks as well as our reading and learning spellings for our spelling tests that will be on a Friday morning.
