Disaster Zone
Our topic this term is 'Disaster Zone'. This topic has a Geography focus and focuses on the causes and impacts of natural disasters. The children will develop their literacy, numeracy and ICT skills through a variety of activities related to our new topic.
We are currently working on planning and writing non-chronological reports about natural disasters. The children have explored maps, atlases and globes to find different areas that experience disasters including floods, earthquakes and volcanoes. They will be working on handling data related to our topic.
