Autumn Term 2022 - Time
Our topic this term is
Time!
Dosbarth Frogs and Tadpoles have been:
- Playing "What's the time, Mr Wolf?" and counting aloud
- Learning Nursery rhymes and songs relating to time, such as 'Hickory Dickory Dock' and 'The Days of the Week' song
- Discussing our daily routine and ordering daily activities, such as having breakfast, going to school and going to bed
- Learning about night and day
- Creating night and day artwork
- Learning about the seasons changing
- Sorting symbols into the season they relate to
- Learning about special events that happen every year, such as Diwali, Harvest and Christmas
- Learning about the weather in Welsh and English
- Thinking about what the weather is like during our birthday - is it cold and wet? Is it warm and sunny?
Our 'Time' topic display board in class - we involve the children in every step of creating a classroom display!
